                                 POSITION DETAILS:

  • Salary range: $22.86 to $29.20 hourly with Excellent Benefits.
    • 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 7/13/26
    • 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 7/12/27
      • Generally, salary placement is at the beginning of the salary range.
      • Advanced placement may be granted depending on related education and experience.
  • Full-time regular position
  • Schedule consists of a 4/10 typically working Tuesday through Friday.

                           MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education/Training:

  • Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.

Experience:

  • Two years of general maintenance experience performing field maintenance work within the assigned area of responsibility.

License or Certificate:

  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Class A driver license within one year (Landscape or Streets) of employment.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR and First Aid certifications within the first six months.
  • Additional industry-specific certifications may be required depending on area of assignment.

Job Description: Maintenance Worker I/II

 

                                   IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Experience in asphalt and concrete repair, along with general construction knowledge.
  • Knowledge of equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, and related tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt well to changing conditions, especially in traffic control.
  • Follow oral and written instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting, shoveling, and other labor-intensive tasks.
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL within probationary period.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and respond to after-hours, standby, and emergency callouts.
  • Dependable, strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
