Warehouse Worker & Driver

Job Summary:

Command Performance Catering is seeking a hardworking Warehouse Worker & Driver to perform various tasks in a warehouse setting. Someone who is flexible in being moved from station to station depending on where more hands are needed. Will work closely with all warehouse team members and managers by completing jobs to help the facility operate smoothy for catered event preparation while also working in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

• Report to Warehouse Managers on assigned daily tasks and duties
• Stock the warehouse with products from incoming deliveries
• Track, count and organize inventory of catering-related items
• Deliver products (food, catering equipment, etc.) to local areas in the company’s vehicles to events
• Load up company vehicles with catering items for events, then unload all items after they have returned to clear and repack truck for another party
• Clean and inspect the quality of equipment before and after they return from events
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and location for each item, whether it is pulling from or putting way in its designated area
• Transport equipment around the warehouse by hand and/or rolling on dollies, carts and racks while safely maneuvering them around
• Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work environment

Job Requirements & Skills:

• Must have a California driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must have weekend availability
• A team player mentality with attention to detail
• Strong communication with management about assigned responsibilities
• Ability to multi-task and task prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal direction provided by Warehouse Manager
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changes that may occur at any point
• Possess and maintain a California Food Handler (CFH) card
• Physical demands include walking and standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 40lbs, bending over, climbing up and jumping down trucks and vans, moving large and heavy racks and equipment
• Must be flexible with working outside at moments in the different elements
• Flexibility to perform different but related tasks at any given time assigned as requested by Warehouse Manager based on the needs
